It applies precise spine and hinge scores to the cover right before it meets the glued book block, ensuring a sharp, squared spine and preventing the cover stock from cracking when the finished book is opened.<> Misfeed and Double-Feed Detection: It is equipped with optical sensors that monitor the feeding process. If it detects a missed cover or two covers pulled at once, it immediately halts the binding carriage. This prevents a "naked" glued book block from passing through the system, minimizing material waste and mechanical cleanup.
